I wanted to tell you how wonderful your pastries were last Thursday! I was not able to taste all of them because I am trying to stay away from sweets but your chocolate chip cookies (which was the only thing I did try) were amazing! It was the perfect combination of taste and texture. The physician’s also really enjoyed the pastries as well. Again I wanted to compliment and thank you for your service this past Thursday, we all really enjoyed all the goodies!

The closest thing to heaven! The red velvet half chocolate is the cure for whatever you got! Love them! 7-up pound cakes are yummy. She also has this unique pineapple cupcake with Dulce de Leche butter cream that I’ve never seen anywhere….yummy to my tummy.

He spent some time talking to me and asking pertinent questions to get a feel for what I do and what I am about and he hit the nail on the head and according to Jack Hillman of Hillman Design Group (my web site designer), the logo made this site. This lady can bake! From her delicious snickerdoodle cookies to her heavenly red velvet cupcakes and delectable 7-layer bars – my taste buds were in euphoria.
When she first debuted her truck, my husband, who is gluten intolerant, gave her a challenge and asked if she had any gluten-free treats. She didn’t at the time, but now she has created some of the BEST gluten-free baked goods we’ve ever tried. She baked a delicious gluten-free carrot cake for my husband’s birthday (his favorite cake) and you wouldn’t even know the difference. It was the first time he’d had carrot cake since being diagnosed with Celiac disease and boy, did he enjoy it! She’s also made gluten-free chocolate cake pops and orange cranberry muffins that are TDF. It’s amazing that they’re gluten-free. Her gluten-free treats were better than regular baked goods!
We love, love, love Honey’s Mobile Sweets and if you’re gluten intolerant and need a baked goods fix, you should check her out. Actually ANYONE that has a sweet tooth should visit her at the Hayward Farmer’s Market. That’s the great thing about Honey’s Mobile Sweets – there’s something sweet for everyone! You won’t regret it.

Prior to a gluten-free muffin from Honey’s, I thought I was the queen of gluten-free goodies(especially in my 9 year old Celiac-afflicted son’s eyes). At a Saturday Farmer’s Market in downtown Hayward, I gladly abdicated my throne to Honey! I bought two muffins to bring home for my son to try (neither of which made it). One nibble and I had to make myself stop before I ate the paper! Honey’s heavenly mobile sweets puts Miglets and every GF bakery within a hundred mile radius of Hayward to shame. Her muffins are light, MOIST, and beyond flavorful. And not the tiny $3 muffins that GF folks are accustomed to….a huge glazed muffin.(largest GF baked delights for the $).
The only thing better than the muffins was Honey herself. She was so delightful! I emailed her to get some goodies for Thanksgivings Day and although was a little late in asking; she called me. When I told her I would bring my son by to meet her at the next Farmers Market to try her wares (& insure that he actually got to eat her muffins….I don’t trust myself with them on a 5 min. drive home.), she was genuinely eager to meet him. That Saturday she had baked a special batch of GF cookies for my son. I have never been so confident giving my son food from someone else’s ovens; but, Honey exercised all the protocols to prevent cross-contamination….WITHOUT my prompting. And they are the BEST chocolate chip cookies I’ve ever had, wheat based or GF! I bought enough so that my son will have one a day in his lunch box. I didn’t just abdicate my throne to Honey, as long as I can buy treats from her Mobile piece of heaven, I retire!

From the moment my eyes saw Honey’s Red Velvet beauties, I was already hooked. Then came the taste, and it was love at first bite. Nothing else compares to Honey’s Red Velvets!
